"I want to help President Trump achieve his greatest legislative victory: by putting legislation on his desk to stabilize Social Security for the long term."

“I support the appointment of conservatives to The Supreme Court - the choices from his first term have transformed the Supreme Court for a generation to come, and we have a chance to cement that for generations to come.”

About Bill
Reeside
While some sit on the sidelines wishing the world were a better place, people like Bill Reeside roll up their sleeves to make it happen.
A Lowcountry homeowner since 2004, Bill was thrilled to make the area he’s loved for years his full-time residence in 2023. Bill is a results-driven leader who’s willing to put in the work to build a stronger Lowcountry for all of us. After more than 40 years in the nuclear power and research industry, he left corporate America to join Habitat for Humanity of York County, working side by side with volunteers to build and repair homes for families in need.
Now, Bill is ready to take his problem-solving mindset and heart for service to our nation’s capital. His mission is simple yet bold: restore the balance of power in the federal government, bring back fiscal discipline, and leave America better than we found it—for our children, grandchildren, and generations to come.
Bill’s decision to run for office reflects his life’s work: researching, identifying problems, and fixing what’s broken by doing the hard work himself. While many lawmakers pass the buck, Bill will take responsibility and work tirelessly to do what’s right for South Carolinians.
A devoted husband, father of three, and proud grandfather of five, Bill and his wife Sandy have called South Carolina’s 1st congressional district home for many years. When he’s not spending time with his family or building houses, you’ll find him on the soccer field, refereeing games and mentoring young officials.
